El Mas del Palmeral de Vilafam\u00e9s celebr\u00f3 el pasado s\u00e1bado la festividad de Sant Antoni con la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 300 personas en una jornada que empez\u00f3 con la bendici\u00f3n de los rollos y la comida de los mayorales, con paella, \u2018figues albardades\u2019, bu\u00f1uelos y coca con higos, todo regado con vino de la tierra.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Por la tarde tuvo lugar, como acto central, la procesi\u00f3n con la imagen del Santo por los caminos que rodean la partida y el tradicional reparto de rollos a todas las personas que asistieron. Como acto m\u00e1s l\u00fadico destaco el \u2018bureo\u2019 interpretado por la rondalla del grupo de danzas El Peir\u00f3 que recientemente ha recuperado diferentes m\u00fasicas, letras y bailes tradicionales de Vilafam\u00e9s.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Francisco Edo, conocido como \u201cPaco del Palmeral\u201d, anunci\u00f3 que este ser\u00eda el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o que \u00e9l participaba en la organizaci\u00f3n de la fiesta debido a la avanzada edad, 80 a\u00f1os cumplidos, y el trabajo que supone la puesta a punto de cada uno de los actos que se organizan para acoger a los vecinos. Precisamente, Edo, el actual propietario de la mas\u00eda, ha sido una de las personas claves que ha colaborado con el grupo de danzas El Peir\u00f3 para recuperar una parte importante del patrimonio sonoro de Vilafam\u00e9s. Nati Castellet, Xavi Allepuz y Gabriel Gil, investigadores y miembros de El Peir\u00f3, han dedicado tiempo y los conocimientos adquiridos en el folclore de la comarca, para esta singular recuperaci\u00f3n de m\u00fasicas de baile, como la jota, fandango y seguidillas, la Arenilla, o la Carraspera, que ahora presentan al p\u00fablico para ser bailadas y cantadas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Para finalizar la fiesta, el p\u00fablico asistente disfrut\u00f3 de una interpretaci\u00f3n de acorde\u00f3n y de una animada verbena. Con la celebraci\u00f3n en El Palmeral se cierra el ciclo de invierno de Sant Antoni en Vilafam\u00e9s que, en el mes de mayo, se completar\u00e1 con las fiestas a la pedan\u00eda de la Basseta.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
