Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX, un hombre recorr\u00eda los pueblos del Pa\u00eds Valenciano con su ganader\u00eda. Miguel Vilar ‘Lucas’ llevaba el nombre de Vilafam\u00e9s de pueblo en pueblo y de fiesta en fiesta. Con el nombre de ‘Lucas’ ven\u00eda aparejado el nombre del Ratonero, m\u00edtico toro deseado en cada plaza. Ahora, durante las Fiestas Patronales del 2024, el Ayuntamiento de Vilafam\u00e9s ha rendido un sentido homenaje a Miguel Vilar por el legado que deja imborrable para la posteridad con sus toros.<\/p>\n

El viernes por la tarde se llev\u00f3 a cabo la fiesta en honor a Miguel Vilar, con la presencia del equipo de gobierno consistorial y la Corte de Honor 2024. En medio de la Pla\u00e7a la Font, todo el vecindario regal\u00f3 a ‘Lucas’ un fuerte aplauso, rodeado de hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Entre ellos, Lucas T\u00e0rrega, actual ganadero y nieto del gran protagonista de la tarde.<\/p>\n

El reconocimiento otorgado a Miguel Vilar quedar\u00e1 para la posteridad: una de las calles de la Pla\u00e7a la Font llevar\u00e1 su nombre. Se trata de la v\u00eda que ahora conecta la Pla\u00e7a la Font con la avenida Barcel\u00f3, espacio que tradicionalmente ocupa el corral taurino durante los festejos.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el concurso de ganader\u00edas de las Fiestas Patronales tambi\u00e9n llevar\u00e1 su nombre. As\u00ed, en el 2025 se celebrar\u00e1 el primer Concurso de Ganader\u00edas Miguel Vilar ‘Lucas’.
